We are leading the energy transition by engineering smart sustainable solutions working across Offshore renewables, Hydrogen & carbon capture, Nuclear and Oil & gas. Our multidiscipline engineering and design teams support clients in the UK and internationally across the full project life cycle from concept, FEED, detail design and construction, through to late life and decommissioning.
To support our ongoing strategy of growing and developing engineering talent we are, once again, looking for Engineering Graduates to join our established and diverse teams.
Job purpose
As a Graduate Engineer you will be fully immersed in our diverse range of engineering projects across the full spectrum of the energy industry. You will work alongside experienced senior and principal engineers and be assigned a mentor to support your development. Building on the knowledge and skills gained from your degree, your learning will continue via direct on-the-job experience and appropriate formal training courses – both internal and external.
Essential requirements
You should be either a recent (or soon to be) graduate with a minimum of Masters (MEng/MSc) in either of the following disciplines:
- Instrumentation and Control (Electrical/Electronic) engineering
- Process (Chemical) engineering
- Structural engineering
- Naval Architecture
We would also welcome applications from engineers at the beginning of their careers, looking for their first career move.
Key responsibilities
You will be involved in:
- A variety of engineering projects in all areas of the energy industry;
- Executing engineering projects from initial concept development right through to detailed design and manufacture
- Working as part of our multi-disciplined engineering/project team with engineers, designers and specialists of all experience levels
- Producing engineering calculations and performing analysis in the pursuit of generating new designs or assessing existing equipment/facilities
- Liaising with clients and visiting facilities/locations as necessary
